There was an ad posted to the Lincoln, Nebraska craigslist today for a free 3-year-old Chessie. I e-mailed and received this information, in case anyone is interested:

He is an intact male, 3 years old. Personality is great with kids, adults and
other animals. He is a very friendly fun loving dog. He has not hunted. He is
registered, but I had not planned on transferring the papers since we were
giving him away. Papers could be negotiated to the right person, I am more
concerned with the home he is going to. We bought him from a guy that worked
for my husband who is from Aurora. Mom has an excellent tempermant too. The contact is cbratsky@windstream.net
