There's a 7 year old male Chessie named Thumper available for adoption on CBRR&R's website (http://www.cbrrescue.org/viewdog.asp?DOG=1522). His owner passed away, the family had him scheduled for euthanasia, but allowed CBRR&R to bring Thumper into foster care. They've been told he was trained & hunted with, and has a soft mouth. This dog looks like a nice one & very lost, but might make a wonderful hunting companion for someone.
