Sorry for the multiple post. Now the quick story behind the photos.
First picture is my dog with my brother's yellow lab from a hunt a few weeks ago. My brother's do is not in the greatest shape and would not sit for a picture. 2nd picture is a friend/coworkers black lab who is 10 years old. She is losing her hearing and recently had a large fatty tumore removed. She did pretty good and we just wanted to get the dogs out on some birds. 3rd picture is from a get together I was at and I took a guy I know and his son out on their first ever bird hunt. That is only half the birds they could have had. They had fun and the dog did great. 4th pic is Gunner sitting in the field waiting for the hunters to catch up. 5th is Gunner with some birds at home. Last picture is Gunner's first "real" duck hunt. The coots make good training birds. He was out for youth duck day in September and we got a girls first duck that day. Thanks for looking. |

Great pictures. Nice to have the kids and the dogs having a good time. What is your coot limit? I took a freinds son duck hunting and he blasted a couple coots, when the gamie came over and told him he could shoot 25 coots his eyes lit up like it was christmas.

Sounds and looks like you and Gunner have been having some fun. He is a handsome fellow. It is nice that you took a kid hunting, good for you!

The coot limit is high here as well. All of them were shot at one time. They came back but I didn't want to shoot anymore.
