MY friend and I went to go out duck hunting yesterday and we froze our but off. With this wind we are getting in Maryland there is not water. The first place we went to had no water outside the channel. I got about 200 yards off the channel and got stuck on a sand bar. So we managed to get back in the channel to go hunt another place. When we got back to the boat ramp finally at 8:00 am this is what it looked like. The water is useally past the first piling on the pier to the left.

So then we went to my buddies plae who has a offshore blind. The blind is 150 yards offshore so we thought there might be some water there. We got there at about 10:00 we hunted till about 1:30 it got to cold and the birds wouldnt coperate. We did manage 2 bluebills. THor had to jump out of the blind to retrieve the birds then then blimb up on a deer stand to get back in the blind.

I callen my buddy when I left there and her was already set up so I went over and hunted with him. I got there a little after 2 and we limited out on greenheads in 1 hour. He had his dog there and Thor mostly had to honor because his dog breaks everytime. So I would let his dog pick what bird it was going to pick up and then I would send Thor on the other bird.
Thor bringing back a mallard and Bruiser is on the backround with a mallard too. Ended the day with 2 bluebills and 8 mallards. |

Thor went out and caught this one himself I relocated it somewhere else and he was fine.

Good job Nick, it shows persistence pays off.Nice pictures. My girl Kodi likes to catch tame birds too.Its a good thing she hasn't killed any of them or she wouln't be welcome at my folks farm. Its hard to discipline her when she brings them back all proud to your side. She also only does it when she isn't being supervised.
