Those are great photos, way to make some good memories for the young folks. I like the dog riding on the front of the boot, very nice.
How do you fix the divers. I like duck, but I usually let the divers fly by. Late in the season we have a ton of buffleheads and whistlers on the river. Thanks Jeff |

Diver duck Recipe. Pluck and Empty the ducks, rub olive oil inside, stuff the inside with apples,a bit of maple syrup, salt and pepper. Place duck in aluminium foil between 2 rocks. Cook at 325 Deg for 30 minutes, open foil, broil at low for 10 minutes, throw duck away, eat rocks!!

Sounds like the typical recipe for them. I have a buddy who thought he was cutting a fat hog when he shot a few mergansers. He stuck it out to eat them and made jerky out of the mergansers. I could smell that jerky before I got to his office. Smelled like a combination of kippered fish and burnt feathers. I couldn't even try a piece and I usually eat stuff that would make a buzzard gag.. So I don't shoot em if I can't eat em. Jeff |
