I just wanted to ask if anyone had any tips on kennel trining my ~8 week old pup Abby. I have had her for two days now, and have tried to keep her in her kennel short periods of time and I let her out only if she is not whining, then I play with her a bit and take her out to potty. Any tips or suggestions, am I doing this right.

sounds right - when you put her in her crate you can give her a dog biscuit or something to chew on so that she associates going in with a reward....

Kong toy filled with peanut butter and frozen will keep her bussy for awhile and she will learn that good things happen in the crate. It will take some time but she will get used to it.
