level one should not freak the dog out...but if it does, then you need to find a collar with more options... I have the pro 200 and really like it...

I would NOT let the pro CC the dog on the current collar, if it truly is freaking the dog out...otherwise you will have a MAJOR battle to overcome...

You might want to look at a Dogtra collar they have about 100 different stimulation levels from impossible to feel to as high as you need and everthing inbetween.

That being said that is a very uncommen reaction to that level of stimulation. Hopefully your pro introduce the collar in a controled stituation, he should have or he shouldn't be a pro. Some dogs do need a little desenceitizing(sp?) to the collar. Don't be afraid to ask him lots of questions.
