Mike Galante of Preston MD and his dog WOW , a yellow lab, are the 2007 Maryland Gundog Champion! Congradulations Michael!!!
Other finalists are:
Kali, Jeff Riebling, Thomasville, PA
Thor, Nick Steen, Joppa, MD
Dazy, Jim McCready, Rhodsdale, MD
Mac,s Perfect Storm, Gary Lanham, Deal, MD
Jimi, Mike Moss, State College, PA
Rosie, Jim McCready, Rhodsdale, MD
Orion, Dora Newman, Bear, DE

But some bad news after the test. After the last series when I was walking from the line we noticed alot of blood on the ground around Thors foot. I laid Thor down to look at his foot and at first we thought it was a cut pad then we looked closer and could see a puncture and he had a big lump on top of his foot. Big Thanks to Frank Durham he had a first aid kit and wrapped Thor paw to get the bleeding to stop. I thought his foot was broke. I rushed him to the emergency vet Clinic in Bel Air. Dr. Wendy Snyder Xrayed his foot and it is not broke but there is something in there. The xrays didnt show what is in his foot but it is in between both of his bones. We think it is a stick. But Thor is in surgery right now and will be out of commision the next couple weeks.
