My pup is AKC but Im going to a UKC trial. I've been told I have 60 days to reg. That is if we earn points.I'm only testing started ,but I never done any trials before. The club I'm in go through the motions of hunt teest when we get together once a month. Can you test seasoned at same time as started or can you only do one thing at an event? I was also wondering if there was testing just within the chessie breed? Thanks for 411

"No hunting retriever may participate in two different hunt categories per licensed hunt."

First paragraph under Eligibility for Started Hunting Tests:

And again, "No hunting retriever may participate in two different hunt tests per Licensed Hunt."

First paragraph under Eligibility for Seasoned Hunting Tests:

The entire Running Rules:

I have not run a UKC test but it looks like most test are doubles. So the test on sat is different then the one on sunday.
So enter started on sat. and then seasoned on sun.

As stated you can only run one test (Started, Seasoned, or Finished) on a given day. You could do Started which is back to back singles on land then again on water one day, and Seasoned, (a walkup, double on land, land blind and then a water double, diversion, and water blind) on the following day if you wish. The walkup and diversion can be done on either land or water as long as they are done during one series of the test.

Tenor,

Where are you located? We have plenty of room at Great Lakes HRC Spring test on May 17th. In fact, the last I knew(on this past Sun.) there was talk of canceling one flight of Finished because we are needing entries. You can download the premium here, or enter and pay by PayPal:

I haven't talked to anyone since Sunday, so things may have changed the closer to test day we get, but thats the way things were looking then.
