September 15,16,17,& 18

The Flathead Valley is North West of Missoula on the way to Glacier
Park. We are holding the trial on private grounds West of Ronan
in the Round Butte area. Their are beautiful grounds owned by pros and
amateur trialers. We have access of over 500 acres in a five mile range.
With several different looks. Lots of water and grassy cover. We will use
ducks in all stakes. There will be dinners every night. Those specifics are
still in the planning stages.
Weather could be cool at nights. Warm during the day. It has also
been known to be wet and rainy or possible snow.

The trial before the specialty is the Wood River RC trial in Picabo, Idaho (near Sun Valley). It is a fairly long drive from Picabo to Ronan, Montana, but drives are always long in the Mountain West. Some guy named Tom Cox is judging the Qual and Derby, so brown dogs ought to get a fair shake if they do the work.

Not only a long drive, but if you are in at the end on Thursday and you got up early to take care of your dogs and you have to drive almost 400 miles you may be up and driving asleep at the wheel. That sucks!!
