RETRIEVER TRAINING SEMINAR

Joseph McCann of RockErin Kennels

Hosted by the Green Country Retriever Club (GCRC).

What: A training day with professional retriever trainer Joseph McCann. Joseph has been training dogs professionally for over 16 years and is the current president of the National Field Retriever Assoc. (NFRA).
Topics will include basic and transition training. Handlers are encouraged to bring their dogs (2/handler) and receive 1-on-1 instruction while running their dogs on field setups.

When: April 17th, 2004, 8:00 – 5:00

Where: Fort Gibson Wildlife Management Area. Directions: 6 miles north of Wagoner, OK on Hwy 69. One mile west on E 660 Rd.

Cost: $30 per member ($40 for non-members)
Membership: $20 per person, $30 per family

Details: Lunch will be provided. Bring your own chairs, shade, drinks, notepad, foul weather gear, etc. It’s a chance to learn invaluable information from a professional, meet other trainers, and take part in a new organization dedicated to handlers and their retrievers.
