The Talbot Retiever Club has set 3 dates for training your hunting dogs this spring. The first day is Sunday March 26 at 9:00am until finished. Setups will be available for beginners, started and advanced dogs on both land and water.
The training session is open to the public and is free. Live mallard ducks may be available for $10 each.
Training will take place at Mallard Haven Farm in Dorchester County. Directions: Going east take Rt 50 to Cambridge. Turn right on Rt 16 going west to Church Creek(5 miles). Turn left on Rt 335 and follow it 10-12 miles to Gootees Marine. Turn right and go about 2 miles to the training grounds on the left. A sign will be posted.
The other training sessions will be Sunday April 30 and Sunday May 14. These will be in the vacinity of Trappe in Talbot County. More specific info on these will follow.
