I am posting this at the request of Patti Maye of Windy Point Chesapeakes.

I emailed her questions about the weekend and we realized that it was not publicized here. Thanks to Chris at Blue Moon for getting us connected.

This years annual Wisconsin ACC weekend is April 25 - 26 in Oregon, WI. It is located just south of Madison, WI.

I have never been to one and have always heard great things about it. Anyone with a chessie is welcome to attend. They are even letting us Illini in!

There will be field work sessions, training seminars, a 'mini-trial' of sorts for puppies, beginner dogs and intermediate dogs. Examples of training seminars include E-Collar, Force Fetch, beginning blind drills, wagon wheel drills. There will be AKC Canine Good Citizen tests. There will be a session on CBR Rescue. There will be a raffle!

There will be a potluck lunch and a steak dinner on Saturday. Bring your own steak knife though..

Registration forms are due by 3/25/09 for complete reservations. If after the date, you might not be guaranteed a steak dinner.

For more info, I guess contact Patti at Windy Point or email me and I will email the forms.

Thanks Dennis for posting the info. I've been to the WI chessie days and they are alot of fun. Haven't been to one in the last couple of years because didn't know if Patty was still hosting them since the passing of her husband. Glad to see she is having one this year. Unfortuantly I won't be able to attend since it falls on a hunt test weekend and it is more important to me to get the last sh pass on my female before she comes into heat. Have fun!!!

JoAnn, Good luck on the SH title. Hopefully I'll run into you and your husband in Masters in the future after Kodi gets her SH.
Dennis, Hope to see you in Oregon.
