Have you tried using Lisa's Chesapeake database?
That will give you their titles, All Age status, and such.

Or are you more interested in temperaments, etc.?

How do i get there? Didn't know she had a data base for bloodlines. LISA? A little help on both would be outstanding if anyone has some history on these dogs.

Also, FYI John:
concentrate the most on on finding out what the parents/grandparents were like. The dogs 3 or more generations back are nice for 'bragging rights' but your pup won't have much of their DNA. Half his DNA/inherited traits will come from the two parents, a little over 5 percent from each of his 4 grandparents, and less than one percent from great-grandparents.

Looks like he has some nice ancestors though.

Thanks guys! Julie the parents are the ones i do know. So my intrigue is in ancestry now. Lookin back at all the dogs i find all of Dustins dogs are absolute studs! (they dont do the test thing) They did hunt test gunner teals dad. Hey!, what the heck Teal is gone for 3 more months so i got nothing better to do ! I will check it out.

Doesnt seem like the chessie info page is very up to date. When do they pick up my dog in the pedigree?

John, since both of Teal's parents have obviously produced a litter, you should be able to put each name into Lisa's database and pull up the info on each parent.

In defense of Lisa, it's near to impossible to put dogs in if they have nothing to their credit to bring them to the forefront, but if you put a title on Teal or got a health cettification such as OFA/CERF, then it would trigger his name to come up for Lisa to add him to the database.

Just my two cents worth.

I do know Gunner (teals Dad) is Dustins one shot smokin gun JH. Lani Alexia Of Tif is Teals mom and is a family dog. However she is out of Duckbands otter of flatlands MH. I dont see her in the database and,



Gunner is out of jessies little joe SH and dustins amber critter get'r.

You might also check out the Chesapeake Pedigree Database (or is it Data Base?). It depends on submissions by owners, breeders, etc. so is not as complete as Lisa's, but it does include some who have no titles or health clearances and would thus have flown beneath her radar.
