I have the old-standby, Genetics of the Dog, by a Prof. at the Univ. of Edinburg, but I'm wondering whether Lisa or anyone else can recommend something more current on the same subject.

I notice that a couple books were published fairly recently, incluing Genetic Diseases of Dogs (2002) and the very pricey The Genetics of the Dog (2001). Has anyone read or used them? Any comments?
