Check out the video of Tori. I posted it on Degenerative Myelopathy page. For all you folks who are still in denial about the need to do DM research into DM. I won’t be spending $2000 for a MRI to diagnose DM.

how sad! I am so sorry to hear that another dog from this litter is going to go through DM..and especially sorry for her owner....

I will have the first item(s) for auction as a fundraiser fairly soon....2 wonderful watercolor chessie prints donated by Bob White.....they are awesome. Hopefully will get them in the next week or so and can advertise them shortly after...

I am very saddened to hear of Tori's diagnosis.....she was my dog for the first couple years of her life, and I had high hopes for her before my job took over my life (70+ hours a week), leaving me with no time for her....so she went back to Mitch and Linda. In retrospect, I should have kept the dog and quit the job, since I quit not long after that anyway. Hugs to Ms. Tori, and I will be thinking of her. She's the only dog I've ever had that caught grouse....one live bird in midair, and a mouthful of tailfeathers on another.

Sharon -- Tori now lives in New Je3rsey with 4 other Peakes. She is a house dog and sleeps on the sofa. She loves her kong ans is very sweet. She is well cared for and maybe a bit fat.

Billy, I'm glad to hear that she is with you...I've often wondered what became of her. I'm glad to hear she still loves her Kong....it was her favorite thing since she was just a little pup. Give her a hug from me, and tell her I'm sorry she's having to deal with DM....if there's anything I can do, please let me know.
