For I'm a Newbie in the Chessie, I have to start the total Newbie-questions...sorry:-/
When choosing my first Chessie (now 14 months) I knew (and fell in love with his parents) and I had seen generally two types of Chessies: the skinnier-longlegged type and the more "massive" dog, with balanced proportions-which I like best.
For the last year, I have been searching throughout the net for all informations about the breed I could get, but I never got a clue about the different lines. I read the names in this board and know I have heard about some of them, but I lack the general overview.
Now my question: What would you suggest, where to get the best information? Are there any books, any overview-informations for the absolut beginner in the net???
