Hi,
I would like some information on this breeding, were you able to do it, when are puppies due, what can you tell me about the dam and her health clearances.

Thanks!

I have a vet appt. for 12 March to start progesterone tests, breeding pending tests. Cooter is a beautiful dk brown 65 # chessy (see photobucket) with lots of drive and determination and a great marker. She has fought a few large geese this year as well as bringing in a tundra swan in addition to an assortment of ducks. She is PRA NORMAL and EIC CLEAR. If you would like to know anything else, I will be glad to brag on her nonstop. Let me know if you have any other questions or you can email me.

Cooter has started the progesterone tests. The breeding should happen in the next week (fingers crossed).

Juli, doesn't that orange collar flare the ducks? Beautiful dog though.

I suppose it would if she wore it while she was hunting....HTat said, she has been goose hunting once and grouse hunting numerous times...only wears the shock collar while hunting (black)

She is pretty cute!

Juli, shock collar while hunting? Shame on you.

Cooter was bred today so we will be looking for puppies @ third week of May. These pups will be microchipped and DM/EIC tested. $300 deposit required. DM Clear $1200, Carrier-$1000. It is a little more complicated than that but if this breeding interests you then contact me for more information. Good luck with the breeding. Nice bloodlines.
Our Freezer grandson is a pistol (his Mom is a half-sister to Canvasback). It is a good combination, we think.

Bred Freezer a couple times to a Decks bitch and he throws awesome puppies Have one with a MH, jammed the derby and qual and another lacking just one pass towards his master. You will have a blast.

I don't know if your female is a maiden bitch, but AI breedings can be hard to achieve even if the female is proven with a litter before the AI. From what I have been told, AI's using a surgical implant procedure may have a slightly higher ratio of success.

This was a surgical AI w/frozen semen. It was her first breeding and I'm currently considering my options for the next. She'll be put in training until I can get back home from Afghanistan. I'm researching studs now. Must be DM clear but a lot of stud ads still don't have the results.
