Tom Cox came down from Idaho for several days of training in the mountains of Western Colorado last weekend and I was glad to see his "Nicky" x "Meg" pup "Delmarva's Native Son" ("Nate").

A few stickmen-winger marks at 4 months for "Nate" (and his brother) with ducks and pigeons.

The older dogs also had plenty of much needed work on the Grand Mesa.

This "little" Peake training group included:

Bur Oak's Neutron Meg***

Delmarva's Maggie Mae***

Delmarva's Country Girl** ("Billy" is consistently getting the marks in the All Age Stakes)

Crossfire's LC Smith**

Delmarva's Good Feelin' To Know

Delmarva's Native Son

There are several photos of Tom Cox and "Nate" in the current ACC Bulletin with the 2006 National Field Trial Specialty winners on the cover. Tom also wrote a nice recap of the trial in the same issue.

And there is some more information on this link.

It's been a long, cold winter in the Rockies this year. Let's get back to work.

Delmarva’s Native Son (Nate) 27 months old, just won the Qualifying at the Northern Utah Trial. “Nate” also went three series in the Amateur. It doesn't get any better. Great job Tom!

FIRST MY EARLIER POST WAS COMPLETE AND UTTER
SARCASM PERIOD.

SECOND To Mr. Carlson to whom I talked with a
short time ago and apologized for my
previous post. I'm so sorry, and em-
barrassed.

THIRD To Lane and John Ackerman ;
Curry and the new guy. I am proud
to say our families are friends and
that we have watched, worried, ran
ours and each others. The brown
AFC mutt is one of mine.

For those who don't know me personally; I did not mean to offend Mr. Carlson and his hard work
and due diligence in producing a top genetic
litter. I know first hand and heart what it takes in the way of time for research,
preparation, and the ultimate choice to breed
one's baby. I would have been proud to have
one the the pups. I look forward in helping
the new along.

To jtowne and the Moscowitz's no offense was
ment in any way.

Apologies again. Feel free to vent.
