Captain Thor of the Chesapeake SH : Hips Excellent (CB-8929E29M-PI), Eye CERF in 07 and 08(CB-5905), Elbows Normal (CB-EL1291M29-PI), PRA Clear Optigen, EIC Clear. Thor is a tall leggy Chessie. His shoulders are about 27 inchs high and he weighs about 85 lbs. At the young age of 2 years old he has already earned Senior Title, was a finalist in the Maryland gundog Championship, and placed 3rd in a upland Chukar challange. Right now he running in master test. Thor is also my personal hunting dog and I also use him for my commercial waterfowl guiding buisness on the Chesapeake Bay. He has retrieved close to 500 birds everything from geese and ducks to phesants and chukars. He has a great temperment around people, kids, and other dogs. WORTHINGTON'S PRINCESS HALEY GAL hips good (CB-8928G34F-PI) eye CERF (CB-5907). Haley is a real sweetheart. She lives on a farm outside Baltimore with her Dam, her Sire, and 1 of her offspring. All of them have a great temperment and are fun to be around. Haley's sire comes from some local old time Chesapeake Bay hunting stock. The dogs were only bred for one thing and that was to hunt the rough conditions of the Chesapeake Bay. All of the dogs have strong desire to retrieve and please thier owner.

The pups are due at the end of the month. Haley went for a Xray's today 4/15 and the vet said it is between 6 and 12 puppies.

Right now 4 females are spoken for. We are going to wait and see how many pups are born before they are priced. But the price is going to stay very reasonable and would like these pups to go to hunting homes.

I am about 20 away from Bauer's. I hunt alot of the places they do. It is the same places that these dogs were hunted 200 years ago.

Haley's sire Harley is from Bauer's Farm. He is a big ole boy and lives on a farm with Haley and one of Haly's offspring from a previous litter.


That is why I like this litter. It is a mix of some Old time Chesapeakes with some of the Big time Idaho dogs.

foul1 love the pic. Guess I better jump in here since I have Haley. She is huge and uncomfortable right now could be any day. She is staying in the pond alot to support the weight of the pups I guess She did that last litter. Not her first litter she is quite the exceptional mom.

Welcome to the forum Haley's Mom,that poor girl looks like she is ready to pop.Sounds like it should be a nice litter of pups. I have seen and trained with some of Haley's pups from her last litter and they are nice looking dogs with a lot of drive and easy to train. Hope all goes well with the pups.
