Hello, new to the board. I recently just lost both of my chessies, one from old age that was great and the other was my puppy at 4 years old from Northern Flight from Lyphomia. Very sad, was the sweetest dog and they both will be missed dearly.
I have started to look for a puppy and thought you guys would know of good litters for hunting dogs that are great family dogs. I would like a female with slimmer lines. I do not want a big stocky chessie because our climate is warm in california and i do some upland hunting. Do you guys know of any good litters coming up that might fit my needs? Look forward to hearing your suggestions. Thank you, Ryan |

Ryan,
So sorry to hear about your Chessie losses. 4yrs old with lymphoma, that had to be tough. Glad to see you are looking for another brown dog. I would check out the posted litters on this forum and contact the breeders, maybe a little brown dog from one of these litters can find a good home. Thanks JoAnn, it was pretty rough, still not over it but I thought it would be a good time to get a new dog as my sister is having her first baby and I want her to be train and socialized before the baby comes. I will keep looking but if you guys know if any good breeders that have upcoming litters i would love your recommendations. You guys are really involved daily with good dogs and I am just want a hunting dog that is good with the family.
