Walker is an 24+ inch solid in color reddish brown male that weighs 85 pounds in field weight. Walker finished his Championship title with 3 majors and several Best of Breed wins. He is a happy go lucky dog that is good with other dogs. He has strong retrieving desire. Several of his puppies have gone into hunting homes and the owners say the pups by Walker are easy to train and stylish retrievers. He has several major point offspring and a 7 month old pup that earned "Started" hunting legs with the UKC. Walker is 7 years of age and this will be his third litter. He has sire two litters, his first is turning 2 years old in June and the other litter is less then a year old.

Brier's personal OFA page: http://offa.org/display.html?appnum=1237478#animal

Brier is a 22 inch 65 pound in field weight "agouti patterned" medium reddish reddish brown female that is a serious girl that also knows how to have a lot of fun! Brier finished her Championship title before she was a year of age often beating out competitors twice her age. She enjoys hunt training and I hope to get her trained for hunt tests after we finish our goals in agility which seems to be her favorite (as well as my!) niche right now. This dog seems to excel in ANY venue that I put her in. She currently has 2 of three legs towards her Open Jumpers and 1 of 3 legs for her Open Standard Agility tests. She has participated in Dock Dogs where she earned her Senior Jumper- National title by jumping consistently 19-20 feet. When she jumped in competition she would leave 2-3 feet on the dock (too bad they judge from the END of the dock and not where they take off!). Brier was ranked the #1 Chesapeake Bay Retriever by Front and Finish magazine for Rally Excellent in 2007. Brier was just a year old when she earned this designation! Brier also has her UKC "Novice" obedience title and a UKC agility title. Brier is a young dog with a lot of potential to accomplish MUCH more once she is finished with this litter.
Brier will be 3 years of age in June and this is her first litter.

If you want your dog to jump from the end of the dock move up 2 feet. You dont always have to line up at the 40 foot mark. I line my dog up at 36 feet and he leaves the dock at the last 6 inchs.

nice breeding.

Nick...it would probably help if I actually TRAINED the dog to JUMP! She has been to a UAD event and to a Dock Dogs event and both times, she just got on the dock and did it-no training involved. What needs to be trained is MY poor throwing skills...if I actually had some eye/ hand cordination, I can not imagine how well she would do!

I will try to move up closer tot he end of the dock though and see if that helps...thatnks for the suggestion.

Oh...if anyone wants references to owners of puppies that Walker sired that are in hunting homes...just email me off the list and I'll be happy to povide that info.

And just to add on Brier...her littermate brothers are Senior and Master Hunters and one of them won a Qualifying at a field trial in SC back in March.
