Two male pups left...full brothers to Bur Oak's Here's Winston, QAA, Open Pts, Derby List. "Winston" has finished 21 field trials and jammed his first trial @ 6 months, 10 days. "Winston" ages out March 1, 2009. This female line has also produced GRHRCH Montauk's Slick Angus MH**, GRHRCH Montauk's Gee Molly MH.

Quite awhile ago, before "Winston" was conceived, I must have spent a $100 on phone calls to Canada and Gary Ridout talking Chesapeake field dogs. It was worth every penny as I have read of "Winston's" success stories.

Maybe Gary can help me get one of my bitches bred to "Winston" someday in the future?

Seriously, anyone looking for a very a wonderful "Old Time Peake Bloodline" field dog, this is it.

Nice post Scott.

...and "Winston" probably comes from the longest bloodline of AMATEUR trained and handled (by Gary Kavan) All Age field trial Peakes in this breed's history: "Jesse", "Boss", "Jessica", "Trapper", "Winston". 24 years and 3 National Derby List Peakes.

And when you include "Big Sally" (Steve Parker) and "Little Sally" (Steve & Bill Burks) that's 7 generatitons (and 32 years) of trainable Peake trial dogs.
