-We are pleased to announce that deposits are currently being accepted for an upcoming litter between our sire “Rake” and dam “Jazz”. This is a repeat breeding of our “East meets West” pair that produced simply awesome pups last year.
We have confirmation of at least eight (8) pups by ultrasound. Although there is a strong likelihood of more, we will be accepting that many deposits and a stand-by notification list will be established for interested individuals beyond that. The projected due date for this litter is May 18, 2008.
Parents are AKC, OFA and CERF registered / certified. Pups will be sold for $650, with a required $200 deposit. Shipping is available. Photos, certification numbers, references, purchase terms, six generation pedigrees and contact information can be viewed at:
I have a male out of the first breeding. He goes around 90-95lbs, 27in. at the shoulders, wonderful personality with no signs of aggression, good retrieving desire, fantastic coat, good around kids and other dogs, and has been a pleasure all around. Good luck with the upcoming pups, they should make fine gundogs and family companions.

Brad, it’s good to hear from you again. I'm glad your pup is developing into the style of Chesapeake that we are striving to produce. I cannot think of a better "quality assurance" method than hearing positive feedback from current owners.
If you happen to have any photographs of your dog, please forward them my way. Meanwhile, if you ever need anything from us, don't hesitate to call.

Mike, not sure if you know but Arnold's dog, Chase, got his SHR title a couple weeks ago in Union City. Our Kallie is still up north until the end of June. we can't get our schedules together with Jane's radiation treatments, the trip to NC and Sharon's seminar skeds. We decided we didn't want to bring her home for two weeks and then have to kennel her for a week while we went to NC so we decided to let Sharon keep her for a couple more months for more training. I told her if there were any tests she was going to to take Kallie. If we get anymore pics. we'll forward them to ya.

Jasmines dad is a full brother to my Harley and he is large as well 110 lbs. Great demeaner and has thrown some real nice pups of his own. Jasmine looks every bit of a Bauer Dog!
"Jazz" delivered eleven (11) pups ( 8 females - 3 males ) on May 18, 2008. All pups are doing well and will have dews removed / first Vet check this Wednesday. Photos of the pups have been posted on the web site, Highpower Retrievers, and will be updated frequently as they mature.
Anyone interested in a Highpower Retriever should contact us via E-mail or phone for deposit arrangement.
Thanks to everyone who replied with outstanding comments about our dogs and the successes of their last litter.

Hey, Julie...thanks for the inquiry. I have a ton of photos of the pups shortly after their birth. We should have some more posted on the webs site soon (this upcoming week) now that eyes are open and legs are moving.
All the pups were sold shortly after making the advertising posts. However, I think there might be one female available after an individual failed to forward his deposit. If anyone is interested, I'd urge them to contact Roger ASAP.

I'll look forward to the new photos (even if they are all sold!) Your male is such a handsome fellow. It didnt' look like any of the pups were as light as him, though I know it can be hard to tell colors when they're real little. Every now and then when I need a puppy fix I go look at the websites on the classifieds

Greetings Everyone..... Just wanted to post a quick update and note regarding this litter. As of today, we have a female pup become available after an individual backed out a few days prior to picking up the pup and is now demanding her deposit be returned.
The available female pup is absolutely awesome. She is very loving, sociable, active and is fond of carrying / prancing around a mallard wing. At her current age, you can already see many traits from both the Sire and Dam in this pup. I will post some pictures of her soon once I return from a short military deployment. Meanwhile, if anyone is interested, please contact Roger for additional info.
In other news....several new owners have picked up their pups and everyone seemed excited as we are. We are truly proud of this litter and look forward to hearing back from owners as their Highpower pups mature.
Thanks again for all of the kind comments and interest in our kennel.
Mike

As promised, here is a photo taken today of our available girl. As you can see, she has a nice stocky build, great head, huge paws, swims like a shark, enjoys feathers and loves to be held. If anyone is interested in this pup, please contact Roger ASAP for additional information.
Thanks....
