My vet recommends this food. Tucker developed a case of colonitis, which the vet treated with antibiotics and a certain type of Hill Science Diet. He recovered in a few days, and the vets comment on the food was "I like it, they really have it together nutrition-wise.".
Any opinions/comments?

Hey Charlie..............I had nothing but poor results with that food...........all vets reccomend it because they sell it!

There are tons of good food out there.

I feed Old Roy Maximum Performance........my dogs do really well on it and it is my understand it is made by Purina!

Hey Paul!

Well, he's got 20lbs. of it to get through -- what poor results did you experience? Perhaps I could blend it with something else....

I like the salmon based dog food from purina (for sensitive systems)....though it does make the dogs smell like a rotten old fish eating brown bear...LOL

OK Paul, I'll blend it with something else, thanks for the heads up!

Juli, that's pretty bad! He smells good now, so why mess with a good thing!

the dogs love it, their stools are small, and the salmon is really good for their coat....

I feed Pro Plan Performance and Pro Plan Sensitive Skin and Stomach.(the fish food Julie uses) but my guys don't have a problem with smelling like fish. I have all 5 in the house most of the time so I would know if someone was smelling fishy. It makes the dogs have really good coats.
