I've decided that for my 44th birthday I would like to get a dummy launcher. Now that my kids are older, I'll be training Tucker (4-1/2 months) alone, something that wasn't a problem with my last two dogs. Which brands are worth looking at?

Mini Zinger Winger. Easy to store, set up and carry.

Dummy Launcher or Bird/Dummy Launcher?
Etchmark is a good product for launching dummies. I saw one fall into the water and become completely submerged. 5 minutes later it was up and running. As for bird/dummy launchers I like the "Gunners UP" models. They're the same design as the zinger winger but $100 cheaper. I've owned three of them for over a year without any issues. Good luck, Malcolm |

I bought mine online from zinger winger. But I have changed models. Buy the cheaper one which is just a little bigger than the mini zinger winger and supposedly not as good as the field trial model. As far as I can see it's great. Zinger Winger does have a web site

I have a gunners up. Son of a Gun launcher.
The launcher is about $325. Then you have to buy a reciever $175 then a transmitter that is $125. But the good news is when you buy another launcher you only have to buy the launcher and reciever. You can use your transmitter for like 8 recievers. My friends just got a Zinger uplander. That is a nice and small it does not take up much room. I also have a bumper boy launcher I think that was around high $400's. That is for the eltronics and it shoots 2 bumpers. Just remember most of the launchers do not come with the eltronics. That is $300 extra. Also if you go through a dealer you can save and not pay shipping. |
