Looking for a pro gun dog trainer for our 15 month old male Chesapeake Bay Retriever in MD, VA, NC, SC. To leave him there for a couple months training. Any recommendations?

John Weller is located in New Bern, NC. Weller Kennels, look him up online. John has been training dogs since he was a teen.

Hope I am not breaking any rules here. Oak Hill Kennel in Vass NC has a lot of experience with Chesapeakes. We have trained a DC-AFC, bred and trained an FC-AFC and have trained MH Chesapeakes as well as many, many Chesapeake gun dogs. We continue to own and breed Chesapeakes as well as training ours and other people's. Trainers John and Amy Dahl.

You guys did write the book.... I read MD and did not even think about Oak Hill... OOPS my mistake...
