Nick reports Thor earned his final MH leg to title up at Del Bay over the weekend. He was then headed to the CBR rescue picnic held at a nearby park today. Apparently there were lots of CBRs running at Del Bay, Dawn and Gary Boyce earned senior titles on two of their dogs. Nick will have to fill in the details when he stops partying Wink

BIG CONGRATS to Nick & Thor!

Thanks everybody.
The test was hosted by Susquehanna Retriever Club at Rebel Ridge.

I am proud of my boy. He finished his master title in style by passing 4 straight test over 2 months. He has been a great dog this spring and we both go to the line alot more confident. I just need to slow down and it would make his job a litle easier.

There was alot of chessies there. I think a total of 21.

HEy Nick..congrats man..ya see..Thor didnt do as bad as you thought on that water test Saturday..he was a bit fat to the left on the blind thought.. Smile ( just kiddin ya!).
IT was awesome to meet you and and the other people on the Team Chesapeake site..I wish I had entered Theo..she could have done that senior test...and she STILL hasnt broken into heat yet. Man, I tell you, you folks have incdredible training grounds down there. No wonder your dogs as so good.
Well..my girl is back home..she lost 14 pounds down in the Carolinas. ( jsut a bit much in my opinion) and my family thinks she's rail thin, but I'm sure she'll fatten up a bit since her exercise level will drop substantially compared to being trained everyday. By the way, this was the first event in the US that I've ever attended and was blown away by the welcome and friendlyness shown to me. I was truly a great experience. I promise I'll say '' EH'' after my sentences since the people I met couldnt believe I was Canadian because I didnt say
'' EH''.Just to set the matter straigh.. I do say '' EH'' it's just that I know you guys expect it all the time so I dont say it when I'm south of the border. Smile
Niok, I'll try my best to book a hunt with you in the fall. Let me know what dates are good. You've got some great things going on. Let me know when your S***kickers boots come in. I want to order a pair.

cheers to all.

Marc Great to meet you too.
Glad you here you made the trip home safe.
I got to meet theo's littermate today who was also with Chris. He also looked good and earned a Junior pass.

Theo looked good nothing wrong with her weight. You dont want her to heavy if she is a hard charging dog.

You will have to make the trip this winter and let Theo hunt Chesapeake.

Lisa it is now white coats for Thor and Gracie. My goal is to try and get to the specialty. If I do drive all the way up there I am just going to try the am to get in some more line time for us.

I want to enter a trial here this summer but I don't know how they would run in 90 degree heat.
