I ran my first SH test today at Cheltenham Md. where there were only 19 dogs entered. Of the 19, there were only 3 brown dogs. 10 of those passed and I'm happy to report that ALL 3 Chessies made it.(not too bad of a ratio) Haleys Hooktail Duckdog Cassie handled by Richard Shields, North Elk Wesley handled by 15 year old Frank Buck, and my dog Dixie represented the breed well today. It was nice to hear the judges say that the Peakes and their handlers worked well as teams and the one judge said she wanted to cry watching young Frank and Wesley getting the job done together.

Mike that is super news about Dixie's 1st SH pass!
Keep up the good work; she is such a nice dog. Glad to hear she is back in business after her TPLO surgeries (for those that don't know, she had 2 recently). |
