In a tough test where only 5 dogs passed, Dixie got her pass AND her SH title today. It wasn't however, without some tense moments. I used up my handle on the land series and when I saw the water test, I didn't have a great feeling. The test dog had to be handled, and the first 6 dogs all failed. The stick pond was full of distractions and the birds were not really visible or in good shape. Everyone was complaining so needless to say when I took the line, my expectations weren't very high. I knew I needed a clean series to pass so I said a little prayer and hoped for the best. She surprised everyone, including me by acing the test without any problems. In fact, she was the only dog that didn't have to be handled at all on the water. To say the least, my little girl impressed me and gave me a good feeling about heading to masters.
