Hitch earned 2 NAHRA started passes and Harley earned one..Harley was the youngest dog entered so I was very proud of her accomplishment...Hitch, as usual, did a super job....(well, except when he broke on the flyers! good thing for leashes in started!)

A huge congratulations on both passes, but isn't Harley only about 8 months old? That's terrific!

she is actually just over 7 months old...quite a good weekend for her! she was allowed to run out of contention on Sat..which was a great help for her...by the end of the day, she knew the game!

On Saturday she was definitely on sensory overload......first time around that many people and dogs (she came out of the crate barking at EVERYTHING - not aggressively - just very excited - LOL)...first live shot flyer, first adult live bird to retrieve (was very much alive), first dog to run (of course), first time to do a double water re-entry (she did great)..by the end of the day, she knew the game!

Sunday she did awesome - the land marks were in a swampy field with tall, brushy cover for the most part. The water marks were in a lily pad pond (her first time in those too) - both landed just up on shore in 20 inch tall reeds/brush....

I was very happy with her..she delivered her birds beautifully to hand and hunted for the birds like a pro....not too shabby considering she has had less than 30 'field marks' and less than 15 'water marks' and only a few days with dead bird exposure.....

Logan WAS supposed to run her...but he did not want to make the 5.5 hour drive to the test and I think he was also worried he would mess up....He told me he will definitely run her in the next test...
