There were 7 Chessies entered in each of the Junior HTs held by the Fairbanks Retriever Club over the weekend. On Saturday ALL 7 qualified & on Sunday 5 of 7 qualified! From what I saw of the tail end of the land tests & all of the water tests on Saturday, this was the nicest & most trained Junior field I've seen in 18-19 years. The qualifiers were:

Alaska Nellie Bear - Richard Hannan, owner/handler (Sat.)

CH Chesaka Zoe's Bruin Hilde - Mary Pemberton, onwer; Juli Hermanns, handler (Sat.)

Sundog's Unique Maddy - Paula Elmes, owner/handler (Sat. & Sun.) - NEW JH

Sundog's Arctic Trek - Paula Elmes, owner/handler (Sat. & Sun.) - NEW JH

Nuka Bays Mighty Yukon Gold - David Roseveare, owner/handler (Sat. & Sun.)

Wildwoods New Dawns Journey - Kathy Olding, owner/handler (Sat. & Sun.)

CH Chesaka Zoe's Best Chance WD - Mary Pemberton, owner/handler (Sat. & Sun.)
