Logan gathered up his courage and handled Harley (who he co-owns) in a double header NAHRA started test this weekend to her second and third started passes.

It was a blast to watch these two 'youngsters' run the tests. Smile As a parent I was tickled to death that Logan did such a great job as a handler - his eyes were on Harley for every mark, as you can see in the pix and he made sure she was well settled and had time to get acquainted with the surrounding terrain before calling for the birds.. ..Both Logan (13 yrs) and Harley (8 months) were the youngest 'entries'...LOL....

The test was held in Turnagain Pass, which provides an exceptional back drop for everyone involved. We were fortunate to have beautiful weather and lots of good people to 'hang out with'.....

Hitch also passed both days to complete his started title, and Dayzee went 2/2 in her first entries.....

The judges on both days were very impressed with the chessies that were entered (5 on saturday, 4 of which passed)....Yesterday one of the judges told me that in all the years he has been involved in NAHRA up here (since the club was founded) he has never seen such nice chessies (our 3 were the only chessies entered).....Kinda made me proud, and a big thanks to the breeders for putting such nice pups on the ground to begin with.
