Congrats to Malcolm and Hunter!

This is starting to ressemble consistency. Will I have a chance to see Hunter run at the specialty FT, or do I have to go down to Shoreline's FT this weekend?

Claire

PS Cholla is in season.

We're definitely running this weekend along alot of other nice CBR's.

Mike Couto (3 CBR's) open/am
Mike Moscowitz (2 CBR's) am/qual
And two others who i have yet to meet.

I can't confirm my attending the specialty until the end of the week.
I may have some conflicts with work. Frown(

Come out on Friday/Saturday/Sunday and support me and the others.
Well hopefully, we're all still playing on Sunday.

Thanks for all of the support!

Congrats to Malcolm and Hunter and their chief of moral support, Barb. I saw Hunter run the first series of the Qualifying on Saturday and he did a superb job.

What impressed me more was the job Hunter did in the first series of the Open that he ran late in the day with very poor lighting conditions as by-dog. More than half of the Open dogs failed that series. Hunter pinned two of the birds and had a very brief, respectable hunt on the flyer.

Obviously Malcolm has done a very good job of training Hunter. It makes me proud to see one of Curry's sons do so well.

Hey Malcolm et al.,

If I'm able to visit on Saturday, should I go to the dam or to the other property?

I won't know until saturday.
Usually the Open and the Am have rights to the better grounds.
There should be signs posted for each stake.
The Qual starts at 9am, The Open and Am 8am

Dave is competing as well

Hope to see you there

Thanks,

Malcolm

Open and Derby are going to be at James Dean. I believe the qual and amat is going to be at the Dam. I'll let you know Friday.

Thanks Malcolm and Mike.

Dave's vet lost his appointment for my dogs and they re-set it as soon as possible - for mid-day Saturday in NH. One of my dogs has a lump that needs to be examined in a hurry.

I can't imagine that I'd be able to see enough action on Saturday to justify the drive. But, if I feel that I need a long drive to clear my head I'll see you down there.

The health of your dogs is more important!!
If you can make it great, if not update me on how your dogs are doing.

I hope everything works out for you.

Sincerely,

Malcolm

How did ya'll do at Shoreline?

My 9 year old dog has a rectal tumor. We will go to a local Mass. vet on Sunday for referral to a surgeon.

We went out in the first series. Frown((

Tough triple with the long gun retired.
Only 5 dogs did it cleanly!
I probably should have handled him.

Good luck with the surgery!!

Sorry to hear that Hunter didn't have a great day at Shoreline. Dave was pleased with Twister's JAM and that Crux made it through a few series in the Open. Are you going to run the FT in Jersey?

The second vet thinks that the real problem is a hernia instead of the possible rectal tumor. Whatever it is, the dog needs surgery. Our talking appointment with the surgeon is set for Thursday, but we will move that up if we can.

Thanks for the good wishes, Claire

Thanks for the encouragement.
I'm 50/50 on NJ. I have 11 hours and 59 minutes to decide. Smile
