I just got word from Maryland, LB (Westwind's Colonial Rimfire) won the Amateur!!! LB is owned and loved by MIke and Johanna Coutu-handled by Mike. Dad was very proud that his boy 'smacked the test'. Sorry I don't have any details on any other Brown Dog accomplishments-it was a quick phone check in...Best of luck to all who are headed for the ACC National! I'm headed to the prarie states where it's very warm).

Another feather in L.B.'s cap: Yesterday (10/16) I had the pleasure to judge the ACC National Show SPecialty WDXQ puppy stakes. L.B. was well represented with 4 little mini peakes out of Eastern Waters Expeditor, age 10 weeks. Even though these were the youngest pups there, one of the L.B. pups, got a 2nd place bested only by the winner & oldest pup entered, a 5.5 month old!! Little "Shug" a deadgrass bitch, looked very impressive running back to owner/breeder Bill Redfern with her pigeon--Dad should be proud

Congrats! You have a fine string of dogs and your efforts are so deserving of what we are all cheering about now. I remember talking at a trial back when LB was in Derby and you told me you were going "Big Time" with these Chessies. A plan well executed. Congrats again.
