I heard Susie Ritch got a Derby RJ at Coastal Bend last weekend with a really nice Peake that we will about in the future.

Anybody hear anything?

I received an email earlier this week from Susie about the Reserve Jam with "Chase." A real nice young male out of "Blaze" and "Gidget" on Bill Schrader's truck from Texas. Watched him run several times on the CO. circuit last summer.

Susie also owns "Hawkeye's Iron Will" and a QAA lab male out of "Lean Mac."

I figured that was the dog, but got confused as my source said the dog looked to be around 14-15 months old. I *think* those Blaze X Gidget pups are getting close to aging out.

Susie won the Qual with her lab Macabees First Candle last time she was at my club (MIRRC) in 2001. At the time we talked about her little Peake pup. Commenting on how we both liked the little ones that watch the sky for birds when they are small.

My source said that the Peake looked REAL GOOD. Attentive, impeccable line manners. Definitely an up and comer.
