I wanted to let everyone know another BROWN DOG is a contender!“Fireweed’s Big Gun SH” (Gunner) PLACED THIRD in his FIRST QUALIFYING this last weekend at the Coastal Bend Retriever Club of Texas Field Trial. There were 44 dogs entered with only thirteen making it to the fourth series. Gunner is 3 ½ years old.

MEGA KUDOS to Patsy Martin, Gunner's Best Friend and PRO. Patsy is a unique trainer that understands the Chessie mind and how to bring out the dogs desire to please.

Thanks for the ConGrats they are much appreciated. I have no idea where the big guy is going. I do know though that he is in TX and will be running that circuit for now with Whichita falls next and then the PRTA.

Robin and I also have a Distagon/Caroway pup that should be hitting the derby's later this coming year and we have high hopes for her too.
