Congrats to this team! I really enjoyed meeting them at the Specialty. Curry is very impressive to watch and he's a good looking dog too.

I don't know how Julie got the info so fast; I just got home a couple of hours ago. But, yes, Hurricane's Express Courier - Curry - got second in the Amateur at the Buckeye Retriever Club Field Trial today. Two trials this year and two finishes; second at Buckeye and Reserve JAM in the Open at Talbot!

he needs a point and a half for his fc. he has not been shown yet but will be after he gets his fc. i don't know yet by who. any suggestions?

Ten will get you twenty that you could find any number of Chesapeake enthusiasts who would be willing to show Curry for you in breed, if you decide not to show him yourself. Heck, I showed my fieldy bitch in the Veterans Bitch (10 to 12) class at the National, knowing that we would do no better than last in the class just for the pleasure of showing her in breed (which she adores) and to put a performance dog in the class. Let me know if you want Curry shown in New England.

And, yes, we could have done worse than last in the class if she had been disqualified!
