Tess with Joyce at the wheel won the Amateur at the Talbot RC Spring trial. That gives Tess 10 points, two wins and qualifies her to run the National Amateur. Joyce will go. Five more any points will make her an AFC. Also she should get her bench title [what a cute dog. Beamer got a 3rd in the Ama. with Jeff at the wheel. What a weekend for the brown dogs!!

That's great. Bart Clark's Rubbie ran and I think she is ranked 3rd top bitch in the country.

AFC is a dream that only a very few have the opportunity to experience. Amat Field Champion. You cannot imagine how hard that dream is to reach.

Good job Joyce. I get chills when I think about how you must have felt when Tess found that last bird. Now wouldn't it be grand if Jeff could get Beamer qualified?

Thanks everyone! what a GREAT weekend for all the brown/DG dogs. It was Tess and I first quad much less a water quad with 2 retired . Confused She handled it very well. I just kept hearing Randy Bohn, Flip, Jeff, Mindy, Bait and the rest of our training group telling me what to do. You know, take your time, make sure her ears are up, let her catch her breath, etc. It was like I had little angles sitting on my shoulders!
We're trying to get Beamer there. Would be pretty cool for a husband and wife team to get there with peakes Big Grin
