Just saw on RTF where Marston Jones got a derby 2nd at SJRC with Rocky Hook Rebel of Nordais!! This is a nice little dog that has finished a lot of derbies this spring. I met him last summer at a Pat Nolan seminar and really liked him--fast and handled really well at only a year old.

Lots of brown dogs in that trial--here's hoping they all do well!

Yes he really looked nice. Larry was in up until the thid series. He did a poor job on the last bird in the third series. In the amat Tess was picked up and Murray did not get a call back to the 2nd series. Beamer and Tucker got a call back to the 2nd series - land blind and that's all I know. Not many dogs in the game after the 1st series. Very few dogs picked up all three birds. Beamer and Tucker both did a real nice job in the first series. There was a wall of cat tails that stopped most dogs which lead to handles. Beamer and Tucker went right threw. But the best thing is that chessies made their presence felt.

Congratulations to Marston and hope this young field trial Peake is a "keeper" for you in the tradition of "Chemin". "Stoney", "Harry" and "Jamey".
