..and heard from Marty Newport that "Rags" and Bruce Ahlers got an Amateur 2nd this weekend too. Sorry, did not get all the particulars due to a poor cell phone connection.

Congratulations to everyone on their success!

Keith

Yeah the cell coverage was bad, Rags got a Jam in the Open not a 2nd in the AM. Probable somewhat my fault as well trying to drive and talk. Sometimes I have trouble walking and chewing gum as well.

Hey, finishing an Open at 9 1/2 and having a litter of puppies just a few months ago is still quite an accomplishment! Very cool Peake female in my book.

I've become very partial to rooting for Rags to get that win! humm, wonder why I'm biased?

There are quite a few of us that would love to see "Rags" get that All Breed win not only because she is a real nice Chesapeake female trial dog but because Bruce and Marlene deserve the credit. They have been at this game for 20 plus years and I remember all the way back when their CH Lick Creek's Ian*** ran the Field Trial Specialty of '88 in Steamboat Springs, CO. They have owned numerous All Age Peakes over the years and have done some very nice breeding. They have been good for the Chesapeake breed.

Good luck to Bruce, Marlene and "Rag".

Keith
