I know that Bill has his own board but I think he and Judy deserve props over here too for the outstanding job of making the derby list at 15 mos. That Judy must be something, even the Lab people are taking notice! Her last 3 outings: a 3rd, a 2nd and most recently a WIN at Nebraska and I hear tell she's doing respectably in the qualifying stakes, too.
(I think she's going to scare all the derby dogs away from the ACC FT specialty )
Anyway, continued good luck Bill and Judy and Judy's mom Dinah, too!

Was, in fact, surprised to catch a Lab guy praising a young Chessie he'd seen run a while back, and it was Judy. Seems she and Bill are making a fine match.

Good goin' Julie Kudos indeed to "Judy" and Bill! Like most of us cheering from the peanut gallery dogs and handlers like these sure make us proud to be 'peake owners. Congrats on the Derby success and Good Luck toward getting QAA status Team Burks! Dave B.
Hi Bill ! I am so pleased for you and know how exciting it is to have a young bitch chessie keeping those other retriever breeds looking over their shoulders . I've warched their owners grimiss when you have a good job and they know your the one they have to catch instead of the other way around. Keep the train a rollin and it's even more fun up in the Qualifying ranks and from how it sounds your going to open some eyes wide up there to. All the best over the year . Martin Pinder

"Judy" is one very cool and talented female Peake we will hear a lot more about in the future. She not only has the genes and talent, but has a very, very good trainer for an owner. I am going to put some pressure on Bill with this statement, but I sure hope he chases those derby points once accumulated by another well known Peake he bred from long ago, FC/AFC Yukon's Genuine Jesse.
Good to hear Bill is doing so well with his pup, I can't wait to see her this fall. I have pretty much put the Kansas Trial on my schedule and probable ST. Louis so maybe I will get to see her there. Great job Bill Marty

Bill also smoked the first series and second of the amat at the specialty. And since I always seemed to follow him in the open and the amat I can attest to his handling ability. Very cool and calm while I'm sh- t in my pants in the blind watchin him - very smooth.
