QR Two Buck Chuck gets 4th place in the Derby, handled by Jon. This was Chucks last Derby, as he turned 2 yesterday and finished by picking up his 6th point. There were 30 starters.

Also having their shared birthdays were Quail Runs Quicksilver (Roxie) and Quail Run's Surfer Dude (Dude) who both went into the third series -- as did younger half brother Quail Runs' Long Board Rider (Boyd.) There will be less little brown faces in the Derby out here on the West coast as the littermates now are off to the Qualifying

One more interesting thing. Placements in the trial:
1st -- Golden Ret
2nd -- Chocolate Lab
3rd -- Golden Ret
4th -- Chessie
RJAM -- Yellow Lab

Not a black dog on the list. If it hadn't been raining so hard when I gave out the ribbons, I would have loeved to have taken a picture for FT News!!
