Great news John!

Are you running on the east coast at anytime this year?

If so, let me know.
I would love to come out and see Curry run.

I have a male named Hunter out the first Curry/Splash Breeding.

3 legs away from are MH.

We will begin running Quals in the Fall.

Good luck on that FC!!!

Malcolm

Hi,

I'm planning on running the Swamp dog trial this weekend at Hank McNeils place in South Jersey. I would enjoy meeting you and seeing Hunter. I didn't know any of the pups were doing so well, three more legs to go on a MH title at their age is great! Where do you live? Who do you train with?

John,

I have a Curry granddaughter from the Bordo's breeding (through their main hunting dog - Blondeau Naskapi) and Val Farrell in NC has another young bitch from the same litter (Walter x Mimi). I don't know where it came from, but both girls are excellent markers, stable, and very high drive. Mine has loads of bottom; I think that Val's girl is more trainable than mine. They won't have Master legs when they are as young as Hunter, but they show great promised as performance dogs.

Val's girl has her JH and is in training for higher hunting stakes, obedience, and agility. Mine just started competing in Rally obedience and (if she doesn't come in season) will come out in Juniors in a couple weeks. The pro I work with says things like, "She's got Master written all over her". I'm going to let him take her later this summer and see what she has. Her obedience and agility career can wait until her body is more mature and she has her field titles.

John,
I'm going to try and get down to NewJersey this weekend.

I'm looking forward to meeting you and Curry!
Good Luck at the Trial!!!!!!!!!!!

As far as training goes,I pretty much go it alone 95% of the times.

There are two people who haved helped me with Hunter along the way.

1. Buck Shope Orange, Ma - did all of his basics (5 months).
2. Colin McNicol Winnepeg, Canada -advanced (3.5) months of winter training in Cheraw, SC

I live in Reading, Massachusetts
About 25 minutes North of Boston
