For those who don't already know, the Working Retriever Central website maintains a day-to-day progress report on the National Amateur, which can be accessed via a link on its home page. As of this morning (after two series), Curry was still playing. Go John, go Curry.

You can also go to the AKC website. They have a link to the Nat. Am. on the main page. They seem to be doing a better job than WRC and they have video clips too. Looks like Curry and John are going on to the 4th series.

Good Luck!!!

You're right about the AKC site. They have a video clip of Curry running the 4th series. Unfortunately, they haven't yet reported the 4th series callbacks so I don't know how he did. The 4th series is often followed by a pretty severe cut in numbers.

Ref Curry, Curry was not called back after the 5th; 3 dogs were dropped from this goofy land ? blind. Curry had very good to excellent marks in the marking series. Most dogs have had at least 1 handle and lengthy hunts and some are still playing. Thanks Curry. O yea; you to John. Bonne Chance

I noticed that Mitch Patterson and his black dog are still in the game.
