Just wanted to thank everyone for getting the web page up and running. It's great and it gives us people on the East Coast time to plan.

Also, any information on the terrain at theKnapp Ranch is appreciated. (Flat, rolling, woods, etc.)

Well, let's see. The Ft. Klamath ranch has some slope to it, not much, down to the river. It's mostly pasture with an irrigation ditch running through part of it which separates 2 of the pastures. We've been working on it for several years, and have an ongoing project currently. There are 4 main ponds all very different in size and configuration. We used natural occuring swails to determine our ponds. They are not your typical technical training ponds, and offer very challenging opportunities for training or trial tests. One is actually made up of 5 smaller ponds all linked together through channels!

The other ranch in Plum Valley is also pasture, but has a mixture of pine trees. It is very different from Ft. Klamath. We currently have 2 ponds and an irrigation reservoir with another project later this summer for more ponds.

These are mountain valleys, so the terrain is a gentle slope.

Hope this helps any one interested for more information can call me. I'm in the ACC Directory.
