My son and I went Teal hunting yesterday. Took Tucker (3yr old) and Pup Jake (4.5 Months Old). Getting out to the marsh was pretty tough. Tall tulies, mud, swamp grass, buck bush, etc. When we arrived we set up the decoys and made our blinds. About 1/2 hour before sunrise, Pup and I retreated back 50 or so yards from the action. Pup and I enjoyed watching my Son and Tucker limit out. Pup enjoyed watching Tucker hit the water like a locomotive and retreive those Teal. After the Hunt, Pup got to enjoy swimming through decoys(not his first time),and retrieving the fallen Teal that my son would toss out into the water. I was like a proud papa watching that little fart bust through tough cover and water without hesitation. Jake won't hunt till next year, but while the weather is still nice I'll take him with us. A great start for the little guy.... exposing him to all the different elements while still letting him be a happy go lucky pup!

Yes I've been blessed with a Duck-a-holic for a son, a better hunting partner I couldn't ask for. (He carries most of the gear and sets it up) Wink The boys(Peaks)...well it wouldn't be hunting without them. The one thing I forgot at 4:00AM was my camra Roll Eyes But I'll try and get some to post. Nothin like seeing the pup coming out of the water with a mouth full of Duck or Tucker's explosion when he hits the water
