I'm researching some pedigrees, and can't find any info on some dogs.
Dose any one remember a Dobi's Kennel Or Braun Kennel breeding Chesapeakes

Any info or contacts would help me out.

In the 80's I produced a collection of Chesapeake pedigrees through The American Chesapeake Club that included 5-6 generation pedigrees on all the American & Canadian field trial champions, and current stud dogs advertised in the ACC Bulletin along with old dogs and many of the dogs known in chessie pedigrees, and have never heard of these kennels. I still try to follow pedigrees and still have never heard of these dogs. Have you checked the database maintained by Donnett CBR's in Canada? Here's the link.

There is a BRAUN'S BOJO BRUCE bred in the 1970's; Breeder Zimmerman. And a bunch of Dobi dogs bred about 1990 that appear to be Canadian based on registration number and may be from the same litter. Litter was sired by MATICHUK'S FINNIGAN CHESTER out of DUTCHESS OF TRANSCONA. Appears there might also be another DOBI litter from Spiritbay dogs in the late 1980's.

I found a Dobi's Cleo in a CBR Data base. I'm looking for info on male Dobi's Baron Star.
Do you think they might be litter mates?
Also Looking for a pedigree on a female “Braun Little Helper”.
I think these dogs where hunting dogs, in Manitoba Canada.
If anyone knows who bred or owned them, and contact info would be great.
